![]() AMM Work Trip to Rio Chico, Mexico |
In a 2002 article, Pat Morley (author and men’s ministry leader in America) said, “The church desperately needs what discipled men have to offer. Men who love and follow Jesus become leaders. They don’t divorce their wives, they don’t neglect their children, they donate more money, they volunteer for more service. They make a bigger kingdom impact in the community and on the job, and they invite more visitors to church. In short, it’s a recipe for success, Jesus style.” That’s what Alliance Men’s Ministry (AMM) is looking to do – work with the local pastor and the men of his church to make a difference in the family, the church and the community.
If you are interested in serving the Lord in an overseas context, AMM plans short-term work trips each year to a variety of mission fields. AMM work teams show the love of Jesus through prayer, hard work and productive effort. Having been on one of these trips with my wife, I can assure you that these will be weeks well spent in your own spiritual formation as you build God’s Kingdom cross-culturally.
