Territorial Youth Services Youth Worker

Territorial Youth Services (TYS) is a young offender day work program in the city of North Battleford that provides work for youth in conflict with the law so that they are able to earn money to pay restituition and fines while teaching work and life skills to the youth. The mission of TYS is to expose at-risk youth to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Applicant should possess the following skills and attributes:

-Ability to work along side, supervise and train youth 12 to 18 years of age that are in conflict with the law in a variety of work projects

-Ability to motivate and teach youth in a work setting

-Interpersonal and problem solving skills

-Maintain a high standard of quality on the work projects

-Maintain a lifestyle that is pleasing to God in order to be a positive role model for the youth

-Physically fit

-Highly motivated and organized

-Valid driver’s license

-Good communication skills

-Maintain time sheets and records
